BOPHELO WOOL & MOHAIR
Bophelo Wool & Mohair is seeking an experienced and motivated Manager to lead our wool and mohair operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the division, driving product quality and operational excellence, building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, and providing effective leadership and hands-on management to ensure the continued success and growth of the business.
Specifications:
Lead and manage the wool and mohair department.
Develop and implement marketing strategies, manage client relationships, and drive procurement of wool and mohair.
Manage wool and mohair sorting and classing.
Guide and monitor wool and mohair staff.
Ensure that the company receives the best possible materials and that the quality of wool and mohair meets company standards and specifications.
Manage documentation related to wool and mohair transactions.
Liaise with village chiefs and farmers across the country.
Maintain and manage relationships with new and existing suppliers.
Be updated on industry regulations and standards related to wool and mohair.
Minimum Requirements:
BSc Agric Degree.
5 years’ experience in the Wool and Mohair sector (with contactable references).
Experience in wool and mohair trends.
Basic computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.
Good communication, planning, and organizational skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Team player with positive attitude.
Ability to work independently.
A valid driver’s licence will be an advantage.
