Diploma programmes in Nursing and Midwifery.
The College invites applications from qualified and experienced individuals to serve as External Moderators on a contract basis to ensure the quality and integrity of examinations.

Role Purpose:
The successful candidates will serve as External Moderators for the following programmes:
Diploma in Nursing
Diploma in Midwifery
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct objective and impartial evaluations of student assessments.
Confirm that assessment approaches are dependable, valid, practical, and aligned with learning outcomes.
Work closely with the Internal Examiner throughout the assessment process.
Moderate examination papers, memoranda, and examination scripts to ensure quality and consistency.
Prepare comprehensive reports outlining findings, conclusions, and recommendations arising from the moderation process.
Ensure confidentiality and integrity of examination papers and students’ scripts.

Important Note:
Applicants may apply for a maximum of two (2) theoretical modules per academic year, which means only one module per semester.
For practical modules, applicants may apply for a maximum of two (2) modules per semester or four (4) modules per academic year.
Qualifications and Experience:
Applicants must:
Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Education or an equivalent qualification.
Applicants with an LQF Level 8, 9, or 10 Nursing qualification will have an added advantage.
Have at least two (2) years’ experience as an Internal Examiner.
Have at least three (3) years’ teaching experience or clinical instruction at a Nursing Education Institution or equivalent.
Be registered with the relevant Nursing Council.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and report writing skills.
High standards of professional ethics.
