Introduction:
Mophman Civils & Construction (Pty) Ltd is a civil engineering-based construction company located in Maseru, Lesotho, with its current project in Matebeng (65 km south of Lesotho).
The company is seeking to recruit graduates from recognised institutions or Diploma holders in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 15 years of construction and civil engineering industry experience.
Project Management and Planning:
Formulate Contract & Management: Form and file contract management forms and use contract management tools (using FIDIC conditions of contract) to track milestone and avoid delays.
Budget and Control: Monitor production targets, oversee project cash flow, and liaise with client representatives.
Stakeholder Engagement: Proactively document and foster meetings and liaise with clients and local communities.
Additional Attributes and Skills:
Technical Acumen: A recognised qualification (Degree or Diploma) in Civil Engineering, supported by proven practical experience.
Pressure Tolerance: High resilience to work under tight time constraints.
Leadership & Conflict Management: Ability to organise tasks and negotiate with subcontractors while maintaining positive engagement, accurate daily and weekly site diaries, and reports.
